27th - 28th July 2013
Book Here

This exciting new course will take students on a journey of drawing, designing and making jewellery in silver.

The course starts by gathering marks and images by a variety of methods using mixed media drawing. These marks and images will then be developed into possible designs allowing students to explore surfaces and textures.

On the first day students will play and learn in base metals and silver how to practice saw piercing, disc cutting, doming and soldering. A demonstration in chain making will also inspire.

Sunday will be spent developing designs and helping students to make and complete an individual and unique piece of jewellery in silver. The course is suitable for all levels, beginners or experienced. All materials and tools provided alongside the opportunity to buy extra silver if your project requires more than the core materials.
